Hello to all my SPFBO lovelies!

The time has come again for more cuts to be made, and I also want to announce another semifinalist!

All of these books have already gotten a full review by me because I enjoyed them enough to finish the book 🙂 <3

These sorts of books are hard to cut because they’re good books, but there was something else that grabbed my attention more — if you like the sounds of these books, please give them a shot!

In My Time of Dying by Sherrie A. Bakelar

I really enjoyed this one! I mean, it’s very “me” coded – we’ve got an old as shit character, she’s kind of grumpy, she’s a hedge witch of sorts, she’s a reluctant hero. Who might that sound a little like? My namesake. This character reminded me just a touch of Esme Weatherwax, and I love the idea of an old lady going on one last adventure before she dies. She’s also terminal, and she’s come to terms with it — but she’s being compelled by her dead twin sister to finish the mission she was on when she died. Read more in my FULL REVIEW
